Lloyd Distinguished Service Professor in Cinema & Media Studies, published Philosophy's Artful Conversation (Harvard University Press, 2015) and Elegy for Theory (Harvard University Press, 2014); the latter won the Katherine Singer Kovács Essay Award for Outstanding Book in English Language Media Studies from the Society for Cinema and Media Studies. Rodowick also received a Mellon Collaborative Fellowship from UChicago's Richard and Mary L. Gray Center for Arts and Inquiry.
