She was awarded a grant from the UChicago Committee for the Study of Gender and Sexuality to plan the Contemporary Horrors conference and a grant from the UChicago Center for East European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies to support the Medieval Slavic Studies collection in honor of Frantisek Svejkovsky.
